Hilaryous
I recently met Hilary* Swank
and took her for a piggy bank.
Sweet Hilary** was not amused,
she yelled at me she felt abused!
She even thought it was a crime,
and said the way to save my dime
that I had innocently chosen
she would have never been proposin’.
I realized just what I did,
say, where there was no piggy slit –
and to escape from all this mess
bought Hilary a dress slit less.

Was die Inspiration angeht: Ich sah gestern Abend “Inglorious Basterds” in der Originalfassung, was den englischen Teil meines Hirns aktivierte, und heute lief mir im Raketenlabor “piggy bank” über den Weg. Et c’est ca.
An englischen Versen tue ich mir ja etwas schwer. Bei dir liest’s sich, als wär’s nicht schwer. Ob ich es auch wieder einmal versuchen sollte …
Mein lieber Lichti, mir fällt es dann nicht schwer, wenn ich einfach herauslasse, was da ist und die Ansprüche an mich selbst nicht in shakespearehafte Höhen treibe. 🙂
So next time you take Hilary
to any kind of bank
make sure that there’s no military
or any kind of tank.
Because if there is army there
it might be very hard
for you to take your little share
from Swank’s Maestro* card.
